Sweet Cinnamon and Banana Brown Rice

This is like oatmeal but with brown rice instead of oats.  It is amazing and very filling!  Also, check out this video of me making this recipe and you'll see just how easy it is!

Here's what I used:

The Base:
1/2 cup cooked brown rice
1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
2 tsp agave nectar
Cinnamon to taste

The Extras:
1 tbsp raisins
1 tbsp slivered almonds (or another nut)
A few banana slices*


Just mix it all in a pot and cook until it boils and thickens.  Only takes about 5 minutes.


*I happened to have some frozen banana slices on hand.  I highly recommended freezing and stashing some to use in this, oatmeal, cereal, smoothies, etc.  Just slice the banana and lay out on a cookie sheet making sure that they don't touch.  This way they'll freeze faster and won't get stuck together.  Once frozen, you can place in a ziploc.
